Living Christmas Tree
A Little at a Time

December 4-8, 2008

American author David Grayson once said "I sometimes think we expect too much of Christmas Day. We try to crowd into it the long arrears of kindliness to humanity for the whole year. As for me, I like to take my Christmas a little at a time, all through the year. And thus I drift along into the holidays - let them overtake me unexpectedly - waking up some fine morning and suddenly saying to myself, 'Why this is Christmas Day!'"

The 24th annual Living Christmas Tree, A Little at a Time will take you on a wistful holiday journey helping you learn the joy of celebrating Christmas all year round.

Christmas celebrations seem to come in all shapes and sizes, but OCC's Living Christmas Tree has to be one of the biggest. The Living Christmas Tree features the excellent music of the OCC Choir and an outstanding orchestra comprised of students and members of the community. Under the leadership of Scott Handley, Director of OCC Music Department, the Living Christmas Tree program will display a wide range of musical styles. OCC staff member Mary Green will direct the remarkable dramatic and technical talent of the students.
