Beware of scams. Applying for financial aid
should not cost you, especially when free resources are available. Even a
seminar may or may not be legitimate. Some warning signs are: 1) a fee, 2)
a money-back guarantee, and 3) requests for your credit card or bank account.
Check with your Financial Aid Office if you question a company's legitimacy.
