Music

The power to move a generation

The communication of a culture

The language of worship

At OZARK CHRISTIAN COLLEGE, music is woven into the fabric of every aspect of campus life. From Chapel services to special community-wide programs, from the sounds of radio station KOBC 90.7 FM to traveling Outreach Ministry Teams, from campus-wide worship to personal devotions, music is the vehicle to communicate the message of faith.

Churches throughout the United States and the world also know the value of music and music ministry. Growing ministries place music in a central role in their evangelism, involvement, youth, education, and worship programs.

The OCC Music Department exists to prepare ministers of music and worship who are well-trained and well-equipped to serve the local church. Through classroom teaching, extracurricular activities, and practical application in real-life settings, skills are developed to raise up a new generation of ministers using music to share the love of Jesus.
